The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. My mom is funny:
"You know how the Amish always make sure there is at least one flaw in anything they make, like quilts, because only God is perfect? I sewed a valance for the RV with the print upside down! It's an old west print - I'm pretending the rocks are clouds. We're currently seeking Amish friends for a camping trip. . ."
That is a great story. PS I don't think the Amish are good campers :)

I think their every day life is too much like camping, so they would be resentful at the idea of people thinking it was recreational. Plus, they would easily object to the generator needed to run the lights for all night Uno games and microwave popcorn after the campfire burns out....
